Contact Matching General

Choose which CRM application sources should be included or excluded for searches.

Contact match sources
Sources to ignore Move applications into this section using the left and right arrows to exclude it from searches. This might be necessary if you have licenses for Outlook and CRM and do not want Flexor to search Outlook contacts if they are duplicated in your CRM. Note if Outlook is not running it cannot be moved from one to the other
Sources to include Move applications into this section using the arrows circled in the screen shot above to include it in searches. Note if matches are found in multiple applications, the call activity journal will be made in the application corresponding to the record selected by the user
Search all sources simultaneously Radio button. Select to seach all applications at once
Stop when first matches are found Radio button. Select to stop searching when first matches are found
Return all matches Radio button. Keep searching return all possible matches
Save / Cancel Save any changes and close the screen or Cancel any changes and close the screen

Allows selection of additional contact matching criteria.

If call is internal search locally only Enable / Disable tick box. Check to restrict searches if the Internal Calls number range has been defined under Advanced settings for the phone device
If multiple records match but one record is already open, visible and the call is outbound, auto select the record Enable / Disable tick box. Check to match the record to an open CRM record in your browser
If multiple records match but only one record is a contact, auto select the record Enable / Disable tick box. Check to automatically select a matching contact record 
For the button "Refresh associated record" attempt to auto select the window if a CRM record has focus Enable / Disable tick box. If the user clicks on the Refresh associated record button (shown below) in the Call Summary window, if there is a CRM record open in a browser Flexor will attempt to associate the call to that record Refresh associated
Save / Cancel Save any changes and close the screen or Cancel any changes and close the screen
